Modules Offered
In line with the requirements of the National Committee of Accreditation, the School offers tuition in the following law modules:-
The 6 “Core” Modules
- Constitutional Law (with Charter of Rights component)
- Administrative Law
- Law of Evidence
- Income Tax Law
- Law of Corporations and Business Associations
- Ethics, Professional Conduct and Responsibility
The 10 “Non-Core” Modules
- Civil Litigation
- Contract Law
- Criminal Law
- Criminal Procedure
- Estate Planning and Administration
- Family Law
- Law of Property
- Real Estate Law
- Law of Torts
- Equity, Law of Trusts and Remedies
Please note that as is with the case in an academic law school, in any session our modules are offered subject to demand by participants and availability of lecturers. This is particularly applicable for the Non-Core Modules, but the Core Modules are not entirely exempt. That said however, we are enabling School, that is to say we attempt to allow rather than prevent, so we will try to be as accommodating as possible even if demand fails.
There is no limit to the number of modules a participant can enrol for but we encourage all participants not to take more than 6 modules in each term.
Kindly note that the School does not issue certificates or the like for successful completion of particular modules.
