Lecturing Positions (Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary)

Throughout the year, the School welcomes applications for lecturing positions in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary.

You are:

  • A lawyer (with or without a Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee of Accreditation) practicing Canadian law in Ontario, British Columbia or Alberta;
  • A lawyer (with or without a Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee of Accreditation) admitted to practice law in Ontario, British Columbia or Alberta, but you are not practising at the moment;
  • A non-lawyer with law degree from a law school in Ontario, British Columbia or Alberta; or
  • A non-lawyer with a law degree from a non-Canadian law school but with a Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee of Accreditation, and capable in the law of Ontario, British Columbia or Alberta.

You must be able to teach at least one of these modules:-

  1. Constitutional Law (with Charter of Rights component)
  2. Administrative Law
  3. Law of Evidence
  4. Income Tax Law
  5. Law of Corporations and Business Associations
  6. Ethics, Professional Conduct and Responsibility

“Non-Core” Modules

  1. Civil Litigation
  2. Contract Law
  3. Criminal Law
  4. Criminal Procedure
  5. Estate Planning and Administration
  6. Family Law
  7. Law of Property
  8. Real Estate Law
  9. Law of Torts
  10. Equity, Law of Trusts and Remedies
